Fourth Class coming to an End!

It has been so busy this last month, June has flown by!
This month we have been doing projects about Brazil and the Amazon river and Rainforest that run through it. We have learned that Brazil won the World cup 5 times. (Abbie S.)
We learned that Brazil borders 10 countries. (Aoife)
Did you Know.......The amazon Rainforest is the largest Tropical Rainforest in the world. (Caoimhe)
Its the only South American country that speaks Portuguese. (Gloria)
The Amazon is the most fertile area in Brazil. (Kate)
We learned that Brazil is the worlds largest producer of coffee. (Tomiwa)

Last week we have an art workshop.

We worked really hard on our products and everyone helped each other. Check out some of the bags and phones you could be buying in the future!

Hi again!

Hi again its Abbey Katie Tomiwa and Excelle .This week we had our interculteral day class is learning about the amazing Costa Rica.
It was really fun,we set up stands in our P.E hall. Our stand was about how far our bananas traveled we were giving out samples of our banana bread that teacher had made.
We also harvested our lettuce. They grew really well and we all got to bring one home.

                 
                 

March Madness!

We have been very busy in the last month with lots of activities happening around the school.
Athletics is still going on and we had two days of races, one in March and another in April. we are looking forward to the finals in May.

And They're Off!!

This was on a sunnier day, unlike April when we all got pretty wet. thanks to the Mams and Dads for the spare clothes!!

We also had our Céili in March it was so much fun and great to see people all dressed in green!

Also in March we were lucky to get a free Dublin Bus into the city center. We took a trip to The Little Museum of Dublin. It has lots of interesting artifacts from life in Dublin. It also has a whole room dedicated to the Dublin band U2. It was really interesting to see the history of our city in pictures, photographs and interesting objects. 

It was such a glorious day that we had a chance to have our lunch and a bit of fun in Stephens Green before we went to the museum. 

Athletics!

Today we raced in cross country and we had fun. We did really well. There will be more races in April and the finals are in May. Two people from our class came in the top four and three people came fifth.
