Our Witches Chant

Exciting Science
We are learning about magnets. We made compasses with magnets. First we filled a bowl with water. then we magnetised a needle and tested it with a paperclip. We cut a square shape from a sheet of cork. After that we put the cork in the water and put the needle on it. The needle pointed north. Have a look at our pictures to see the fun we had.
Our School Walk
We had our school walk on the 11th of October. We walked around the whole park! We went into the playground and we had great fun with our classmates. It was so much fun.

Ciarán Carr Foundation
Just a quick reminder about the fun run/walk for the Ciarán Carr Foundation taking place in Corkagh Park this weekend, Saturday the 19th.
Entry Fee is €25 and the proceeds go to raising money for defibrillators. The aim is to have one in every school in Clondalkin.

What's Been Happening
We’ve been in school for three weeks now and we’ve been really busy.
We harvested our onions, which were a huge success.
We also did a brilliant project on Dublin and learned that it’s a coastal county, Kenny Egan the boxer is from Dublin and that it’s the capital city of Ireland.
My Highlight of the Week
On Monday we learned how to predict stories. Naomi
